Refurbishment work to 1902 IV/55 Hill & Son organ

We are honoured to have been commissioned to undertake a programme of refurbishment work to the 1902 IV/55 Hill & Son organ in the chapel of Eton College.

The work will include:

– replacement wind controls for blower reservoirs
– repairs to wind trunking and reservoirs
– improvements to winding of the Tuba
– overhauling of the console, including pedalboard, keyboards and mechanical manual-to-pedal coupling
– overhaul of the pneumatic drawstop machines and piston system
– restoration of cross-trackering on Great and Swell soundboards
– other small repairs, including some re-leathering, regulation of slider machines, and strengthening reed resonators
